District Fuel Station Project

The District Fuel Station project consisted of the installation of a new above ground skid mounted fueling facility at the District Headquarters, west of the District's Maintenance Facility, to replace the aging underground tank and dispenser. The new station includes storage for 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel and 2,000 gallons of unleaded fuel, along with fuel consumption monitoring cloud software, and brought the site into compliance with current standards from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Project Benefits:

  • Better for the environment
  • More efficient fuel dispensing
  • Able to track fuel use more effectively

Project Outcome:

The new fuel station has been started up, commissioned, and now provides fuel to the District’s fleet. The old equipment has been decommissioned, and the construction area has been restored. This project was substantially completed in August of 2025.
